There is this buddy of mine whose father, Mekonnen, is really amazing.
Their family is somehow releated to ours. (That would make them Oromos )...anyways, Mekonnen was playing cards with the other old folks from the neighbourhood.
Those of you who are familier with the card game seka will know what am gonna talk about. When you start playing seka, you can decide whether you wanna have what some politically incorrect people would say, "galla thrice"...if you are politically correct and don't wanna offend people, you call it "fara thrice."
Mekonnen, being an old school, he didn't know about the politically correct expression. All he knew was "galla thrice." He wanted to avoid that kind of play from the game. But being an Oromo, he didn't want to embarrass and insult himself in front of his friends, so he thought about it for a while and goes...
"Wellamo thrice ayefeqedim!"
